$35.00

Sunday 12/8/24, 12-1:45pm

The Davis Yoga Collective
at The Davis Shambhala Center
133 D St ste H, Davis, CA 95616

Join Bex Nagy for a deeply restful inquiry into the miracle of your whole-body and molecular breath, through gentle movement, yin and restorative yoga, self-myofascial release with therapy balls, and Soma Nidra (Bex’s somatic approach to Yoga Nidra). We’ll explore our inner space through the body maps of western anatomy, physiology, and embryology as an energetic practice, melting away tension and illuminating the mysterious places within to see what they have to say when we cultivate deep listening.

This workshop explores your whole-body breath and the molecular breath of each of your cells, investigating your relationship to gravity and space, the experiential and embryological foundations of self and other, and the physiological and poetic expressions of metabolism on multiple scale levels simultaneously.

This class is appropriate for all levels of yoga and will feature drawing and/or journaling prompts to integrate the dreamlike wisdom of your bodied revelations. Bring your own mat, bolsters, yoga blankets, blocks, strap or belt, warm comfy layers, and an eye mask if you wish. Paper and color pencils will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring a journal and/or writing and drawing supplies if they wish. Advance registration is highly recommended.
